Juliet Goozh

Licensed Psychologist

I am a licensed psychologist with more than 35 years of experience providing therapy services. I obtained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from George Mason University in 1991, followed by an eighteen-month training program in substance abuse medicine from the Medical College of Virginia. I also completed an intensive training program in clinical psychotherapy at the Washington School of Psychiatry. I work exclusively with adults and couples, specializing in the treatment of adult survivors of abuse and relationship issues. I am an active therapist whose collaborative style helps clients decrease emotional stress, increase self-awareness, and change negative interpersonal patterns. I work from a psychodynamic, attachment theory, and family systems perspective, combined with cognitive-behavioral and IFS techniques.
