Allison Zweig "Tell Me Your Story" Allison is a native Marylander, and has lived in Annapolis for 10 years. She studied anthropology and sociology at The College of Wooster in Ohio, which helped her to appreciate the interconnectedness of everyone’s story. Her graduate degree is from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., where she concentrated on Adult Mental Health. It was here that she learned that physical, emotional, and spiritual health go hand in hand. She believes that mental health is an ongoing process, a journey, and can be assisted by accessing inner strengths and creativity. It is also crucial to achieve a balance between mind and body. Another important factor is being open to nature and all that it has to offer.

Allison’s therapeutic practice offers walking and collage therapy as well as traditional psychotherapy. Her practice specializes in (but is not limited to) the health needs of women, including pregnancy and postpartum concerns, life transition concerns, eating disorders, and relationship, family, and parenting concerns.

When Allison is not working she likes to spend time outside, or crafting, baking, knitting, quilting, or walking. She enjoys Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing. Find her blog at:
